Nice images! This is an ex-Yugoslav tank, and several features identify it as such: The headlight arrangement and brush guard box on the front, for one. For another, the cut-away section of the upper rear plate to reveal the radiator panel and that box extension on the lower panel. Those mods were done when the tanks were re-engined with the V12 from the T55. The spaced VVSS was very common on the B2s, and can be seen on tanks in French and Turkish service as well. This one still has the original 90mm M3 gun with thread protector; many were retrofitted with the double-baffle muzzle brake. Some Yugoslav tanks also were refitted with the 90mm M36 gun from the M47, with bore evacuator and single-baffle muzzle brake.

It just isn't easy. Both AFV Club and Academy hulls have dimensional issues; Academy is too narrow by 4" in scale and that squeezes the proportions. AFV's turret shape is better, but Academy has better interior bits for both hull and turret.
My advice: Buy both, and a Tasca M4A3 to make the M36B1. You can use Academy's interior parts to fill the hull and improve the turret. Royal Models also makes a nice detail set in brass for the roof armor that was added post-war.
